Working Principle of Ceramic ball mill
ceramic ball mill ,Intermittent ball mill grinding operation is finished in the cylinder body. When the cylinder rotates, materials ascend to a certain height and then fall along a certain path due to the balls' gravity. Two forces are generated on the balls inside. One is the force on balls through tangent direction; the other is a opposite force in the contrast to the diameter of balls, as a result of the force generated when the balls slide down. These two forces will constitute a couple for the steel balls. The balls are squeezed between the cylinder and the adjacent steel balls, so the couple can make unequal-sized friction force. The balls will orbit along with the cylinder axis and then fall down, which can produce a strong impact force on the ores in the cylinder body and, as a result, the ores will be crushed. In conclusion, the ores in the cylinder body are mainly crushed by composite effect of peeling force, impact force and extrusion force.
