2. Rotary Drum dryer working principle and flowsheeet:
1. Materials are sent to hopper of rotary dryer by belt conveyor or bucket elevator.
2. Materials enter the barrel installed with slope to horizontal line from the higher side, and hot air enters the barrel from the lower side, and then materials and hot air mix together.
3. Materials go to the lower side by gravity when the barrel is rotating.
4. Lifters on the inner side of barrel lift materials up and down in order to make materials and hot air mix completely, which is designed to improve the producing efficiency of rotary dryer.
5.the lifting balde inside the rotayr dryer can be different arrangment according to different materials drying.
3.Rotary dryer structure :
Rotary dryer is composed of 1.shell body2.front tyre3.rear tyre4.gears5.Thrust rollers 6.support rollers 7.Pinion gears 8.Dischargeing parts 9.Lifting blades 10.Speed reducer 11.Motor 12.Air-windflow 13.input and output device.And accoring to the customer's requirements,we can match belt conveyor or bucket elevator,cyclone separate,draught fan,etc.

Point 1 Steel Plate Selection
Chemical analysis was carried out on the material inspection, according to the requirements of GB700-2006, dryer drum thickness < = 20 mm we use Q235 - A, > 20 mm we use Q235 - B; According to the GB/T 2970-2004 class ii, the range of 60 mm weld edge every board before cutting for ultrasonic flaw detection.
Point 2-Dryer Drum Welding
the dryer cylinder section for toroidal welding, longitudinal along the entire circumference of not more than two weld article number, and shell welds shall be full, the minimum is not lower than the parent metal surface, the top should not be higher than 3 mm, feed plate weld should be smooth.Weld edge bite depth should not be greater than 0.5 mm, continuous length should not be greater than 100 mm, should not exceed the total length of each weld bite edge which 10% of the weld length
Point 3 inspection
Examination all the parts according to the drawing after processing completion. Spraying primer, rust preventing paint, and heat resistance paint.
