Cement rotary kiln belongs to building material equipment, which can be divided into cement kiln, metallurgy chemical kiln and lime kiln according to different materials. Rotary kiln(cement kiln) is used for making of cement clinker and there are dry and wet methods to make cement. Rotary kiln (metallurgy chemical) kiln is used for magnetic roasting of iron ore and oxidizing roasting of chrome and nickel in the steel factory; Baking high-alumina mine in the refractory material factory; Baking chamotte and alumina in the aluminum factory and baking chrome ore and chrome powder in the chemical plant. Main characteristics of the cement rotary kiln
1. The lime rotary kiln applied to roast active lime and dolomite which are commonly used in steel factories and ferroalloy factories.
2. The metallurgy chemical rotary kiln is mainly used for magnetized roasting of lean iron ore and oxidizing roasting of chrome ore and nickele ore etc in steel plants. In refractory plants, this rotary kiln is mainly used for roasting clinker and aluminum hydroxide. When used in chemical industry, it is mainly used for roasting chrome ores and chrome powders and more.
3. The cement rotary kiln is primarily used for caining cement cliner, It can be divided into dry process rotary kilns and wet process rotary kilns.
