Rotary Dryer Working Principle
1. The mineral material is transported to the hopper by a belt conveyor or bucket elevator, and then the hopper feeder enters the feeding end through the feeding pipe. 2. The inclination of the feeding pipe should be greater than the natural inclination angle of the material, so that the material can flow smoothly into the mine dryer. 3. The dryer cylinder is a rotating cylinder tilted slightly to the horizontal line. The material is added from the higher end, and the heat-carrying body enters from the lower end. The heat-carrying body is in contact with the material in a countercurrent way. 4. As the cylinder rotates, the material is moved to the lower end by gravity. In the process of moving forward in the cylinder, the wet material is directly or indirectly given the heat carrier, which makes the wet material dry, and then is sent out through the belt conveyor or the screw conveyor at the discharging end. 5. The inside wall of the slag dryer is equipped with a copy board, which can copy and scatter the material, so as to increase the contact surface between the material and the airflow, so as to increase the drying rate and promote the advancement of the material. 6. after the heat carrier Dryer, the general need for the cyclone dust collector gas with the material captured down.
Rotary Drum Dryer Features:
1. The rotary dryer is made of alloy steel plate manufacturing,the wear-resisting 3-4 times of ordinary steel , the service life of the equipment is more than 10 years.
2. Material initial moisture content 15%, final moisture to ensure below 0.5-1%,which is the preferred products of the cement plant, GGBS and dry mortar production line.
3. The dryer thermal efficiency is as high as 80%, at the same time, the total power is low, 40% energy saving.
4. The fuel can be adapted to the coal, oil, gas,it can be dried under 20-40mm particles material, aggregate, powder material.
5. The dryer covers an area of about 40% lower than single drum dryer and civil investment reduced by about 50%.
6. No air leakage phenomenon, solved the sealing difficulties, modular units, installation is convenient. 7. The discharge temperature is < 50 ,which can be directly feed libraries, without cooling.
