Introduction to small mechanical Chute Feeder
The chute feeder can be installed on the ground or on the discharge port of ore bin. The chute bottom plates do the reciprocating movement, the frequency of the movement is 20-60 times/minute and the stroke is 20-200mm, stroke can be adjusted by the eccentric wheel, the eccentric throw is half of the stroke. According to experience of some mine sites, the eccentric throw should no less than 30mm for cohesive ore. The chute width is 2-2.5 times of maximum feeding granularity. The biggest chute feeder can supply ore with granularity less than 500mm, the most common specification is 980x1240 chute feeder, with feeding granularity between 350mm, which is the suitable for the 400x600 jaw crusher
Working principle
a) Chute feeder can be fixed on the ground or installed onto discharge bucket.
b) When it works the bottom plate make a to-and-fro motion of 10 to 50millimeter 23 to 39 times one minute. So the materials will be carried to the receiving hopper.
c) Stroke times will be changed upon the adjustment of the eccentric-cam.
d) The installation of the bottom plate is divided into 2 kinds: inclined or horizontal type. The inclination angle can be set as you require.
